A cargo ship named 'Huifeng Wheel' carrying racing pigeons caught fire in the sea off Kaohsiung, Taiwan while on a training mission. Despite initially rescuing 2 injured individuals, the fire re-ignited prompting the captain to abandon ship and all 10 crew safely returned to port. The rescue operation involved two helicopters and three patrol boats, with no casualties reported. The cause of the fire on the ship remains under investigation.
