In a recent operation led by the High Rank Criminal Investigation Unit of the Kaohsiung City Government Police Department, a secret drug greenhouse located in Xiu-Shui Township, Changhua County was uncovered, with large quantities of illegal firearm components and emerging drug Salvia divinorum found. The operation dismantled a setup where a 53-year-old suspect and his 21-year-old son utilized their grocery store as a front to purchase firearm components for modification. Apart from seizing drug plants, a homemade shotgun, improvised gun barrels, ammunition, milling knives, and saws were found at the suspect's residence. The suspects were charged under drug laws and firearms regulations and the police highlighted their zero-tolerance stance towards illicit substances.
