High Risk of Death with 'Fat-Wrapped Muscles'

Reported 12 months ago

A report highlighted the increased risk of 'muscle-deficient obesity' among the elderly and middle-aged people who frequently eat out, lack physical activity, and have poor dietary habits. This condition, where fat exceeds muscle leading to a 'fat-wrapped' appearance, raises the risk of cardiovascular and metabolic diseases significantly. Nutritionist Wang Yinghui advises a balanced diet, adequate protein intake, calcium and vitamin D supplementation, as well as aerobic and resistance training to prevent and improve muscle-deficient obesity.
