On June 14, 2024, according to a report by SET News, the controversy over the expansion of parliamentary powers not only triggered the 'Bluebirds Action,' but also made newly elected legislators potential targets for recall. Data analysis by 'Rongtai Chuang Data' shows that KMT caucus convener Fu Kun-chi leads in recall mentions with 15,000, followed closely by Legislator Yeh Yuan-zhi with a difference of only 2,000 mentions. A civic group launched a second wave of local dialogues, with the first event held in Yeh's district of Banqiao, inviting KMT legislators to engage directly with voters. The pressure on Yeh Yuan-zhi is highlighted, given the structural differences in his electoral district and the possibility of surpassing the recall threshold of 58,000 votes if mobilized successfully by the Green camp.
