A high school parking lot elevator in Taipei turned into a 'waterfall cave' this morning, not due to the heavy rain in the area, but because someone in the activity center accidentally triggered the sprinkler system. The school has already handled the situation with the contractor. Although the elevator seemed to be functioning normally, people chose to take the stairs due to the water. No reports of flooding within the school, suggesting a drainage system issue. Taipei Fire Department received no reports of flooding, emphasizing they would respond only to emergencies. Further investigation revealed that the incident was caused by a mishap with the sprinkler system during a sports activity in the vicinity.
