According to the observations from the Weather Leader, on July 5th, temperatures across different regions in Taiwan ranged from 37 to 40 degrees Celsius, with Taipei's Shilin District at 38.4 degrees, Chiayi East District at 37.7 degrees, Kaohsiung's Qijin District at 39.9 degrees, and Taitung's Changbin Township at 36.6 degrees. A cold-core low-pressure system is approaching the region, leading to unstable atmospheric conditions and an increased risk of thunderstorms with lightning, strong winds, heavy rain, and hail expected over the next three days, prompting warnings for heatstroke prevention and flood mitigation measures.
