On July 9, 2024, the results for the 113th high school admission exam were released, with an admission rate of 99.38%, marking a record-high of 12,4928 out of 12,5704 total applicants. Vacancies amounted to 38,053, the lowest in history. Students can check their results on the respective school committee and admission school websites and must report by July 11. Notably, 297 applicants in the Ki-Bei district were not accepted, topping the list of non-admitted candidates nationwide. The average number of preference options was 12.24, with an average admission rate of 2.69. The first preference acceptance rate was 29.65%, the top three was 79.99%, and the top five was 94.39%. Hualien, Kinmen, and Penghu districts achieved a 100% acceptance rate.
