At the most recent Tony Awards, the show 'Suffs' won for Best Musical Book and Best Score, but surprisingly lost the Best Musical award to 'The Outsiders.' This is the 9th time in history that a musical has achieved this feat, with past examples including 'On the Twentieth Century,' 'Woman of the Year,' 'Into the Woods,' and more.
