Hong Kong singer Denise Ho, known for her involvement in the Hong Kong pro-democracy movement, faced a police complaint for noise during her live concert held at the former location of Hong Kong's Causeway Bay Books. After lowering the volume, 10 police officers arrived, setting up a blockade and demanding IDs from the audience. Despite the interruption, Ho continued the event but got emotional during the performance, shedding tears. Hs had faced difficulties from the Hong Kong government due to her political stance, including being arrested in 2022 under the Hong Kong national security law before being granted bail. She calmly expressed on social media afterward, 'Even in chaos, continue being oneself.'
