As the Dragon Boat Festival holiday comes to an end today after a three-day break, the Taiwan Area National Freeway Bureau has identified 11 congestion hotspots for the day and advises the public to avoid peak hours and start their journey home early. They predict heavy traffic with 115 million vehicle-kilometers on the highways, 1.3 times the daily average, particularly on the northbound routes. Specific congested areas include several sections on National Freeways No. 1, 3, 4, 5, 6, 10, with recommended departure times for different regions to save time. Traffic management measures will be implemented, encouraging drivers to check their vehicles, buckle up, keep a safe distance, and not drive drowsy or distracted. Wishing everyone a safe journey home.
