According to FTNN News on June 9, 2024, the National Freeway Bureau anticipates a traffic volume of 115 million vehicle-kilometers on the highways, which is 1.3 times the daily average for the year. Particularly, the northbound traffic is expected to reach 64 million vehicle-kilometers, 1.4 times the normal daily average. The Bureau warns of 11 congested sections on routes like National Highway 1 heading north from Xiluo to Puyan System, Nan Tun to Holi, and Miaoli to Hukou; National Highway 3 northbound from Zhushan to Zhongxing, Caotun to Wufeng, Danshan to Xiangshan, Guanxi to Daxi, etc. Travelers are advised to depart early to avoid delays and save time.
