On July 3, 2024, at 4:10 pm, Hond Energy successfully entered the Australian market by signing a memorandum of understanding with ZEN Energy, an Australian electricity retailer. The agreement includes a 500MW solar energy storage plant usage agreement, cooperation on a 4MW virtual power plant, and energy storage site development. Hond Energy plans to collaborate with ZEN Energy on green hydrogen and other green energy initiatives. Establishing a subsidiary in Australia in April 2024, Hond Energy will provide integrated services under its own brand TITAN, entering spot, ancillary service, and capacity markets in the country. The company has already secured 70 MW of energy storage site development and engineering projects, with a 5 MW solar storage site expected to start construction in the second half of the year. Through the collaboration with ZEN Energy, Hond Energy aims to enhance its presence in the Australian electricity market and implement its smart power system TITAN for local operations.
