Hondao Energy's General Manager Zhou Shichang announced that the company has successfully entered the energy storage market in Japan, expecting a significant contribution to the group's revenue next year. Prior to establishing Hondao Energy, Chairman Xie Yuan and General Manager Zhou Shichang had invested in the renewable energy industry in Japan, utilizing the country's high subsidies to start their business. Despite the decreasing solar energy purchasing rate in Japan, the company managed to secure a substantial portion in the long-term carbon storage market, aiming to build 1.5GW of energy storage systems in Japan within 3 years.
