Hong Kong Airport, ranked as the fourth busiest airport in Asia, experienced a computer system failure early in the morning on June 23rd. This led to flight information screens not updating, the airport website and mobile app becoming inaccessible, and the adoption of large-scale emergency measures with flight information being manually written on posters. Passengers complained of confusion as the departure and arrival information boards malfunctioned, causing chaos at the airport. Repair work lasted until nearly 4:30 PM with the display screen system only partially restored.
