Louis Koo, a prominent figure in the Hong Kong entertainment industry and dubbed as a 'movie mogul,' is facing a debt lawsuit for NT$34 million from a film company owner after allegedly failing to repay a HK$8.3 million debt he took 10 years ago for a clothing brand investment. Despite his success with blockbusters like 'Paradox,' Koo's failure to repay the debt has led to legal action by the creditor. Koo, with an estimated net worth over HK$1 billion, has been actively involved in various aspects of the film industry and continues to release successful films like 'Raging Fire.'
