Hong Kong's 'Island Hong Kong Tea Restaurant' has developed a French-style 'Sea Salt Caramel Egg Tart' to rival the recently trending Napoleon Egg Tart. Celebrated for its egg tarts, which even the famous actor Chow Yun-fat loves, the restaurant hired a French chef to infuse French dessert ingredients and techniques into its 192-layer flaky pastry creation filled with rich caramel. Priced at 58 NT dollars per piece, customers have a chance to purchase it for 48 NT dollars during the store's anniversary promotions, including a creative competition with a chance to win a 5,000 NT dollar dining voucher.
