The mother of well-known TV producer Kwan Jie (Qiu Li Kuan) recently passed away due to pneumonia. Kwan Jie, while grieving, handled the funeral arrangements for her mother and held a memorial ceremony today where many prominent figures from the entertainment industry paid their respects, including Hong Kong stars Eric Tsang, Liza Wang, and Jessica Hsuan. Kwan Jie gave a tearful 4-minute speech and received consolation from various celebrities. Eric Tsang expressed his hope for Kwan Jie's well-being and announced his departure from Taiwan the next day. The event was also attended by Golden Horse Award-winning actress Jessica Hsuan, along with other celebrities, all there to support Kwan Jie during her time of sorrow.
