Hong Kong Chief Executive Carrie Lam announced that starting from September 23 this year, the Hong Kong Stock Exchange will implement a 'no suspension of trading in bad weather' policy, aligning with stock exchanges in Shenzhen and Shanghai. This new measure allows for uninterrupted trading during Typhoon Signal No. 8 or higher and Black Rainstorm warnings, aiming to enhance Hong Kong's competitiveness as an international financial center.
