Recent days continue to be hot due to the influence of the Pacific high pressure system, with the weather in Taiwan expected to remain hot and humid over the next week. The Central Weather Bureau warns of temperatures above 36 degrees in basins, near mountain areas, river valleys, and the Hualien-Taitung Rift Valley. Southern Taiwan, in particular, may experience widespread high temperatures from Tuesday to Thursday, with precautions advised for sun protection, staying hydrated, and preventing heat injuries. Showers are forecasted in central and southern Taiwan starting Friday as the wind direction changes to southwest, bringing sporadic rainfall.
