According to the weather observations by TTV, on the morning of June 18th, there were high clouds dissipating over Taiwan with no precipitation detected on land. The temperatures across various regions in Taiwan ranged from 23 to 24 degrees Celsius, with the eastern part reaching up to 36 degrees. The forecast shows a lingering front over the northern sea areas causing hot and humid weather with a chance of thunderstorms in some regions. Temperatures are expected to range from 24 to 35 degrees in most parts of Taiwan, with a probability of scattered rain showers in the southwest. The forecast also indicates the gradual retreat of the front towards the East China Sea from Thursday to next Monday, bringing clear and sunny weather but with a chance of afternoon showers or thunderstorms in mountainous areas due to unstable atmospheric conditions. Furthermore, a tropical disturbance developing in the South China Sea with a potential to become a typhoon is expected to move towards Hainan Island and Guangdong without posing a threat to Taiwan.
