Hualien Zikasun Green Forest Water Park's summer water play event kicked off, attracting thousands of participants with an estimated 4000 attendees on the opening day, including over a thousand out-of-town visitors. The park combines water activities with rural natural healing experiences to enhance the quality of tourists' visits to Hualien, especially after the area recently dealt with a 403 earthquake. The event features water activities, along with balloon and carving shows every Sunday until August 26, extending its non-water area closing time to 8 PM. Admission fees remain at NT$50 for out-of-town visitors while locals, low-income individuals, seniors, children, and the disabled enter for free with appropriate identification.
