On June 25, 2024, at 4:10 pm, Da Ya (1609) benefited from the Taiwan Power Company's strong grid project tender, with its cable business entering the harvesting phase in the solar energy photovoltaic field. Foreign funds switched from selling to buying on the 25th, acquiring 11,303 thousand shares, while proprietary merchants also bought 1,323 thousand shares, totaling a net purchase of 12,626 thousand shares, accounting for 35.83% of total trading volume. This boosted the stock price, reaching a high of 55 yuan and closing with a significant gain of 2.3 yuan. Despite London Metal Exchange (LME) 3-month copper futures and spot prices falling below $10,000, they still outperform last May's average copper price. With ongoing cable business orders from the Taiwan Power Company, Da Ya currently has orders worth NT$7.5 billion, setting new highs in combined revenue for the first five months, with a chance of outperforming the same period last year in June.
