The Central Weather Bureau stated that from tomorrow (28th) to next Monday, the Pacific High will weaken, leading to an expansion in the range of afternoon thunderstorms. There is a probability of localized heavy rain in the northern and northeastern parts of central Taiwan, eastern parts, and other mountainous areas. The high temperatures are expected to persist for the next week, especially in the southern and greater Taipei areas, where temperatures above 36 degrees are likely. The CWB also issued a high-temperature advisory, with 13 cities and counties likely to experience temperatures above 36 degrees, remaining hot throughout the weekend. Extra precautions are recommended to prevent heat-related injuries and dehydration.
