With the recent high temperatures in Taiwan, many people are concerned about rising electricity bills from air conditioning usage. Taipower advises that before turning on the AC, individuals should first clean the air filters and open windows to ventilate and cool down the home. This approach allows the air conditioning to operate more efficiently, ultimately saving energy. Additionally, setting the thermostat between 26 to 28 degrees Celsius can yield further savings.
