Following the third reading passage of the Parliament Reform, the Executive Yuan proposed a reconsideration, with the DPP planning a 'Anti-Arbitrary Power, Protect Democracy' nationwide advocacy campaign from June 14 to July 16, starting in Hualien targeting KMT caucus convener Fu Kun-chi; while the KMT will hold 'Taiwan's Third Wave Democratic Reform - Parliament Reform Explanatory Meetings' in all 22 counties and cities starting from June 15 in President Tsai's stronghold Tainan City. This move aims to counter the DPP's distortion of the reform and spread the advocacy from south to north, breaking the malicious narrative. Various figures express their opinions on the intensifying political battle, with the Executive Yuan proposing reconsideration on the reform, with the Legislative Yuan expected to invite Premier Su Tseng-chang to explain the reconsideration reasons, possibly voting on the reconsideration by June 18.
