According to a survey by 591 New Projects, over 103 projects across Taiwan were sold out within six months in the first half of the year, double the number compared to the same period last year. The market frenzy, driven by a rising stock market, has led to a surge in the number of quickly sold-out projects this year. Areas like Hsinchu and Taichung saw over 20 projects sold out in six months, while New Taipei, Taoyuan, and Tainan each had more than ten projects sold out, doubling the figures from the same period last year. However, with government scrutiny on the new Qingan mortgage, the sixth wave of housing market regulations by the central bank, and restrictions on second-home loans, the sustainability of the hot housing market remains uncertain.
