HSBC announced the appointment of Danielle Johnson, a veteran from Goldman Sachs, as the global head of its institutional client group. Johnson, who spent over 20 years at Goldman Sachs, will focus on strengthening institutional client coverage, particularly Western-headquartered customers conducting business globally. She will be based in New York City and report to the co-heads of HSBC's global banking coverage. Johnson joins HSBC from Galaxy Digital and previously worked at Credit Suisse.
