A report from Minzhu News on June 11, 2024, revealed that due to insufficient land for Hsinchu City's Zai-Xi Elementary School, legislator Zheng Zhengqian successfully advocated for neighboring state-owned land to be granted to the school at no cost. The land, valued at around 5.02 billion yuan, was approved for free use by the Executive Yuan following coordination meetings with relevant units. Zheng emphasized the need to expand the school grounds to accommodate the increasing number of students and highlighted the importance of the grant in addressing the school's space constraints, with Councilor Huang Meihui actively participating throughout the process.
