Hsinchu Mayor Gao Hong-an visited the Kuomintang caucus in the Legislative Yuan to address the revision of the Financial Planning Law, expressing that the current law is unfair to Hsinchu City and seeking the assistance of the Legislative Yuan in amending it. During the meeting, Legislative Yuan President Han Kuo-yu made a surprising remark, comparing Gao Hong-an to Snow White, prompting laughter from attendees. Han Kuo-yu further discussed the need for various party caucuses to propose different versions of the law to ensure local areas receive sufficient resources for development.
