On Police Day, Mayor Ko Hung-an of Hsinchu City recounted recent anti-fraud achievements, highlighting the establishment of the 'Hsinchu City Anti-Fraud Team' which ranked first in the last three 'National Synchronized Anti-Fraud Operations'. The city also ranked fourth in the nationwide 'Happiness Index' survey, excelling in 'Safety' with the lowest violent crime rate. Mayor Ko recognized the police bureau's success in preventing gangs, drug busts, fraud, and firearms control, emphasizing the importance of the 'Anti-Fraud' strategy. Policies include raising overtime pay caps and health check funds for officers, purchasing new police vehicles and motorcycles, and providing hazard pay for night patrol duties to boost morale. The mayor commended exemplary officers at a celebration event and highlighted the significance of anti-fraud, crime crackdown, and anti-drug efforts.
