In order to promote and uphold the unique rural characteristics and organic agriculture of Hualien, the Hualien County Government initiated the 'Green Kitchen Green Table Action Plan' last year, selecting 10 units through recruitment activities and showcasing their achievements at the Agritourism Festival. This year, they will hold the second edition of the action plan to enhance the public's understanding and interest in Hualien's rural communities and agricultural products through the selection and exhibition of teaching materials for food and farming education. With a focus on sustainability, the county government aims to encourage local farmers to concentrate on Hualien's unique agricultural and fishery products, integrating the concept of experiential marketing with food and farming education, by promoting the 'Green Kitchen Green Table Action Plan. The activities for the '113th Year Green Kitchen Green Table Action Plan' officially started on June 17th, with workshops and regional briefings set in the northern and southern regions of Hualien, welcoming enthusiastic local farmers and partners to participate in the proposal submission. The submission deadline is July 5th, and interested parties can refer to the Hualien County Government's Agricultural Department or the Hualien Good Rural Life Facebook page for application details.
