Constant heavy rain in the mountainous areas of Hualien has led to the issuance of a yellow alert for landslides for 4 potential streams in Heping Village, Xiulin Township. The Agriculture and Rural Development Administration of the Ministry of Agriculture and the Soil and Water Conservation Bureau issued the alert, urging residents to evacuate if necessary.
