Huang Fei, known for her hit song 'Chasing,' won the Best Taiwanese Female Singer award for the third time at the 35th Golden Melody Awards. Tearfully expressing gratitude to her parents and the gods, she dedicated the win to them and thanked her fans for their support. Despite feeling regretful for not winning the award while her parents were alive, she believes they were present in spirit. The award ceremony also saw Huang Fei acknowledging her mentor, Chen Mingzhang, as the person she was most delighted to walk the red carpet with. This year, Huang Fei competed against four other singers for the Best Taiwanese Female Singer award and emerged victorious, solidifying her status as the Taiwanese Queen of Song in her third win.
