During a vote organized by the Kuomintang for the 'most should be recalled Democratic Progressive Party legislators,' people manually placed stickers on boards to indicate their choices, with the top three legislators being Wu Szu-yao, Huang Jie, and Chung Chia-pin. Huang Jie challenged the outcome by emphasizing the need for approval from the people of Kaohsiung. Referring to the voting results, where her sticker surpassed the voting square and she ranked second, Huang Jie firmly stated her love for Kaohsiung and Taiwan, asserting that she will stand tall and fight alongside democratic allies, rejecting accusations of incompetence as a legislator.
