At a press conference held by the People First Party caucus and its chief convener Huang Kuo-chang on June 12, they questioned the Executive Yuan's unilateral determination of laws' unconstitutionality as an expansion of power, labeling it a 'Supreme Emperor Authority.' In response, DPP spokesperson Wu Cheng criticized Huang Kuo-chang and the People First Party as the biggest purveyors of misinformation in the parliamentary power expansion dispute, continuously distorting facts with inaccurate information. Despite Huang Kuo-chang's repeated statements, they are still considered rumors, deemed regrettable and disdainful by Wu Cheng. DPP will hold explanatory meetings nationwide to clarify the truth and correct misinformation propagated by Huang Kuo-chang, aiming to inform the public of the actual events surrounding the parliamentary overreach by the blue-white coalition.
