Taiwanese People's Party legislators held a press conference yesterday criticizing the Ministry of Agriculture for discrepancies in the import of eggs from Japan last year. Legislator Huang Kuo-chang revealed that despite obtaining the import permit in August 2022, the payment was made to Supersi, established in September. He questioned the undisclosed relationship between Supersi, Bright Harvest, and the Livestock Development Council. The Ministry responded by clarifying the imported egg quantities and denied any wrongdoing, but an investigation is ongoing to clarify the business relationship between Bright Harvest and Supersi.
