Huang Kuo-chang: Taoyuan Prosecutor's Office Involved in Fraud, Allegations of Collusion and Negligence by Ministry of Justice

Reported 8 months ago

On June 17, 2024, the Kuomintang and People First Party in the Legislative Yuan jointly passed a parliamentary reform bill, triggering criticism from Huang Kuo-chang's mentor, former legislator Cheng Hsiu-ling, who accused blue and white lawmakers of 'inflating themselves into emperors and deliberately causing trouble for the government.' Huang then revealed alleged collusion and negligence by the Ministry of Justice in protecting a prosecutor who encouraged Huang's lawyer boyfriend to join a fraudulent lawyer group and handle a public prosecution case in which the boyfriend served as defense counsel. Huang called on the Ministry of Justice to be held accountable, highlighting conflicts within the parliament and criticism from Cheng Hsiu-ling.
