The current legislative session in Taiwan has been extended to July 16, with Huang Kuo-Chang of the People's Party advocating for further extension to the end of July to address issues involving the National Communications Commission (NCC) and exam committee personnel. He plans to propose the establishment of an investigative committee on July 12 to tackle these scandals. The possibility of another extension is pending three-party consultations, with Huang facing criticism from the green camp for seeking an extension solely to exercise parliamentary empowerment.
