People's Party legislator Huang Kuo-chang criticized the Supermarket chain for importing 6 million fewer eggs from Japan, questioning why Bright Harvest Enterprise Limited, rather than Super, received the import permit but the payment was made to Super by the Taiwan Livestock Research Institute. In response to the Ministry of Agriculture's statement that no administrative issues were found in the procurement process, Huang urged the release of the full administrative investigation report, emphasizing the need to uncover any hidden relationships between Super, Bright Harvest, and the livestock institute. Huang insisted on transparency and accountability in the matter.
