In Tainan's North District in Taiwan, a residence belonging to an elderly couple was filled with waste, hindering emergency response. Nearly a hundred volunteers were mobilized by the district office to remove up to 20 tons of garbage. The elderly couple had to be rescued by a crane due to the clutter, and it took about 10 hours to clean out the house, restoring a clean living environment for the couple and neighbors. The cleanup efforts were undertaken by unpaid volunteers, and no cleaning fees were incurred.
