Nearly 30% of oil and 41% of natural gas production in the U.S. Gulf of Mexico remain offline following Hurricane Francine, which brought severe winds and damage to Louisiana and surrounding areas. Over 522,000 barrels of oil and 755 million cubic feet of natural gas are still not being produced, resulting in total losses this week of about 1.82 million barrels of oil and 4.12 billion cubic feet of gas.
