Starting in July, Taiwan has entered the typhoon season. Analysis by Hsin-Hsing Chia, the director of Taiwan Integrated Disaster Prevention Engineering Technology Consulting Company, suggests that after July 16, there will be increased moisture in the southern region, continuing until mid-August, with a favorable environment for typhoon formation expected to establish around August 6 and last until September 10. Chia also provided a detailed forecast of sporadic showers in different areas over the next few days. The Meteorological Agency's Director Chen Yi-Liang mentioned that the latest prediction indicates a higher probability of 2 to 4 typhoons this year, implying a trend of lower-than-normal forecasting probability.
