A man surnamed Zhang, known as 'Brother Jie,' and his wife, who had previously served as drivers for a fraud ring, recruited relatives and friends to set up a fraudulent group, deceiving over 40 victims in 2 years through false investment, gambling, and virtual currency platforms, amounting to over 50 million NTD. Kaohsiung prosecutors, after investigation, have indicted 9 individuals on charges of aggravated fraud. The group used various tactics to gain victims' trust and then cheated them through fake apps and financial transactions, with victims across multiple locations in Taiwan.
