Hylink, a major component manufacturer, plans to expand its operations to Vietnam by investing $27 million (about 870 million New Taiwan dollars) in a new factory in Hai Phong City. The new plant is expected to start production after the third quarter of 2025, with investments to be made in two phases. In response to the demand for diversified production sites from customers, Hylink is establishing its first overseas production base in Vietnam to cater to the 'China+1' or 'Taiwan+1' production strategy. The chairman will also take on the position of general manager, with related personnel changes effective from July 1st.
