Hyundai Motor's unionized workers in South Korea, with over 43,000 members, voted in favor of a possible strike due to stalled talks with the company regarding wage increases and extending the retirement age. Nearly 90% of the union members supported strike action unless the company accepts their demands. This potential strike, the first in six years related to wage negotiations, could impact Hyundai's production of popular vehicles and its revenue, particularly in the U.S. market where the automaker generates significant sales.
