Hyundai is recalling over 226,000 SUVs and small cars in the U.S. due to a potential failure of rearview camera images not displaying on screens. The recall affects specific 2021 and 2022 Santa Fe and Elantra models. Cracks in solder joints on the circuit board can lead to this camera malfunction, posing a safety risk to pedestrians. Dealers will replace the faulty cameras at no charge to owners, who will be notified starting January 19.
