The Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), Rafael Grossi, stated in an interview with the United Nations News that achieving the global decarbonization goal by 2050 is not feasible without the utilization of nuclear energy. Grossi emphasized the significant role that nuclear energy plays in clean energy production, with over a third of emissions-free energy generated globally coming from nuclear energy.
