Tilda Swinton, the renowned 'Iconic Master' who has received lifetime achievement awards from Oscars and Venice Film Festival, will perform in August in Taipei for the first time in a piece conceptualized by fashion historian Olivier Saillard titled 'Embodying Pasolini'. Swinton will embody around 30 influential costumes from Pasolini's classic films such as 'The Canterbury Tales' and 'Salò, or the 120 Days of Sodom', adding soul to the garments on stage. The performance, which explores the essence of costume design beyond film narratives, will take place at Taipei Performing Arts Center Blue Box from August 23 to 25, with pre-sales starting on July 17 for North Art members and general sales on July 24.
