The Immigration Bureau, together with officials from the Mainland Affairs Council's Hong Kong, Macao, and Mongolian and Tibetan Affairs Commission, visited Taoyuan to listen to the stories of new residents. They expressed the government's care and support for new immigrants by visiting establishments like Mr. and Mrs. Pan's restaurant, Xi Yi Garden, where a touching story of their daughter who battled and unfortunately succumbed to a rare brain cancer was shared, leaving behind colorful artworks as her precious legacy. The officials also visited the Southeast Asian Cultural and Educational Innovation Association, exchanging ideas with the chairperson, Ms. Fan Meixing from Vietnam, who actively assists new immigrants and migrant workers in integrating into local life, conducting various activities and lectures, and even being recognized as an outstanding role model for new residents in Taoyuan city.
