As the US presidential election approaches between Vice President Kamala Harris and former President Donald Trump, investors are evaluating how potential changes to the CHIPS Act might affect the artificial intelligence (AI) trade. Bokeh Capital Partners' Kimberly Forrest suggests that while the CHIPS Act is unlikely to be repealed under the new administration, revisions to its provisions may be made to expedite chip production in America, particularly in response to increasing tensions with Taiwan and China.
